Rated 5.0 because we find it, first time.

The work speaks for itself, but our customers say it better. Here’s what homeowners, landlords and loss adjusters across Hertfordshire and London tell us after the leak’s been found and the floor’s still in one piece.

“Boiler kept losing pressure for months and two plumbers shrugged. Leapfrog found the leak under the hall floor in an afternoon and lifted exactly one tile. Brilliant.”

“Our insurer asked for a trace & access report. The one Leapfrog produced was so thorough the claim was approved without a single follow-up question.”

“Damp patch on the ceiling that everyone blamed on the roof. Turned out to be a pinhole in a heating pipe, found without ripping the bathroom out. Saved us thousands.”

“Professional from the first phone call. Explained what they were doing, found the mains leak under the drive, and did not dig a single hole to do it.”

“As a managing agent I instruct a lot of these. Leapfrog are the only ones whose reports I never have to chase or query. Consistent every time.”

“Pool was losing an inch a day and I assumed the worst. They proved it was a plant-room fitting, not the shell, a fraction of the repair I was bracing for.”

A few jobs, start to finish.

Anonymised, but real. The kind of leak, what others had missed, and how we resolved it without the damage everyone feared.

Case 01 · Heating leak · Hertford

The pressure drop two plumbers couldn't place.

An Edwardian terrace had been losing boiler pressure for half a year. Two plumbers had topped it up and guessed at radiators. Thermal imaging traced the hot circuit under the hall, and tracer gas pinpointed a failed compression joint beneath a single floor tile.

Case 02 · Escape of water · St Albans

A ceiling stain, an insurer, and a clean claim.

A spreading ceiling stain was assumed to be roof ingress. Moisture mapping ruled out the roof; thermal and acoustic detection located a pinhole leak on a concealed heating pipe in the floor above. The trace & access report was accepted by the insurer first time, with the detection cost recovered under the policy.

Case 03 · Mains supply · Watford

A soaring water bill and a block-paved drive.

Usage had tripled with no visible leak. Acoustic correlation along the incoming mains located the escape beneath a block-paved driveway to within a third of a metre. One section of paving was lifted for the repair, rather than the whole run excavated on guesswork.
