1. Who we are

Leapfrog Leak Detection (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides leak detection and trace & access services across Hertfordshire, London and the surrounding counties. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us at hello@leapfrogleakdetection.co.uk or 020 3916 6670.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to enquiries and carry out surveys:

  • Contact details — name, phone number, email and the property address relevant to your enquiry.
  • Enquiry information — what you tell us about the leak or issue you’re experiencing.
  • Survey records — findings, measurements, photographs and reports produced during a survey.
  • Technical data — basic, anonymised information about how this website is used (see Cookies).

3. How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out surveys, produce reports, raise invoices, and — where relevant — share findings with your insurer or appointed professional at your request.

4. Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of taking steps to enter into and perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and compliance with our legal obligations such as keeping accounting records.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary — for example with your insurer or loss adjuster at your request, with trusted service providers who help us operate (such as email or accounting software), or where we are required to by law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request, and survey and financial records for as long as required for legal, insurance and accounting purposes — typically six years — after which they are securely deleted.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

8. Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies. Please see our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage them.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this notice from time to time; the date above shows when it was last revised. For any privacy question, email hello@leapfrogleakdetection.co.uk.
