Specialists in finding what others miss.
Leapfrog is a small, hands-on team based in Hertfordshire. We don’t fit kitchens or service boilers on the side. We find hidden leaks, properly, with the right equipment and the qualifications to back it up.
One thing, done properly.
Most leaks get worse because the wrong person looks first. A general plumber lifts a floor on a hunch; a builder makes good and the damp comes back. We exist for the step in between the diagnosis.
We’re small by choice. The engineer who surveys your property is the one who answers the phone and writes the report. Nothing is subcontracted, nothing is guessed, and you always know who’s accountable.
It means we say no to plenty of work that isn’t leak detection. It also means we’re very, very good at the work that is.
Hands-on, every jobA small team, on every job.
Three of us, and nothing subcontracted. The person who answers your call is the one who turns up, finds the leak and writes the report. Drag a photo onto each frame to add the team’s headshots.

We don’t fit kitchens or service boilers. We find leaks every day.
Credentials, not just logos.
Anyone can put a badge on a website. Here’s what each of ours actually means for the person who lets us into their home or instructs us on a claim.
Gas Safe registered
Legally certified to work on gas appliances and heating systems, essential when a leak sits on a boiler or central-heating circuit.
City & Guilds qualified
Formally trained and assessed to industry standard, the qualification a claims team expects to see noted in a report.
Qualified plumbers
We understand the systems we survey because we work on them. Diagnosis from people who know how the pipework should behave.
Public liability insured
£5m of cover on every job. Reassurance for homeowners and a non-negotiable for the professional buyers who instruct us.
Non-destructive, by principle.
We read through the structure before we touch it. Thermal imaging, acoustic detection, tracer gas and moisture mapping, cross-checked until the source is certain, so the only thing opened up is the spot that needs the repair.
Depth beats breadth, every time.
A generalist who finds leaks occasionally can’t match someone who finds them every day. That focus is the whole point of us.
Looks, then opens up
Limited detection kit, so the fallback is exploratory work, lifting floors and opening walls to find what the equipment should have located.
Confirms, then commits
Calibrated equipment and cross-checked methods locate the source first. One precise opening, backed by evidence and a written report.
Based in Hertfordshire, on the road across the region.
Home turf is Hertfordshire. From there we cover London and the surrounding counties and travel further for insurers and larger properties. Most surveys are booked within two working days.
Put the specialists on it.
Tell us what you’re seeing and we’ll give you an honest answer the same working day, survey or not.
